“There are just so many people that there’s no one and you’re just lost.”
“To tide things over until our next warehouse party at the end of the month we will be throwing a FREE party in the Gallery Bar of Oxford Art Factory.
Giveaways and hints to our next party will be released on the night
$10 Beer & Shot”
Find out more about Cries Wolf here. They do lots of cool stuff around Sydney like secret Hawaiian themed warehouse parties and art shows.
POST PAINT have just released their second single TREASURED PROPERTY.
At the moment, it’s up exclusively on triple j unearthed and it would mean more than you can imagine if you guys can all give it a listen / download it for later.
If you have another spare second up your sleeve, you could even write a quick review of the track like this one from the amazingly talented Kira Puru (of Kira Puru & the Bruise):
Bligh’s voice is fucking crazy-good. I’m waiting for some sort of full-scale world domination from Post Paint.”
Our last single FOX & HOUND went really well through unearthed, and that was largely due to you guys. It’s still doing the rounds on the digital unearthed station and has some stellar reviews from the triple j music makers.
With your help, we can make magic happen again.
SO clicky clicky ;)

You can now buy a nifty sticker we made featuring the cover art of our new EP by clicking on the ‘merch’ tab on our bandcamp page. They’re so fucking golden and shiny I couldn’t take a decent picture of one but you get the idea, yeah?
Come down to GoodGod and celebrate the launch of Post Paint’s new EP ‘BY MUSKRAT & SEXTET’ on Wednesday 15th of August. There will be 150 free EPs and a whole lot of good times.
‘By Muskrat & Sextet’ is a step away from the party band aesthetic that Post Paint pursued over the last two years. Each of the three tracks on the EP is heavily layered with effected drums, pitch shifting and sampling with distinct folktronica influences.
Having recently returned from an ambitious 40 date tour of the US and Canada in support of the EP, Post Paint are celebrating by performing for the first time as a full five piece band with new members from March of the Real Fly, Canvas Kites and all city party dog, Scott Owen.
Post Paint will be joined by violinist for Bridezilla, Daisy M. Tulley who will be playing a selection of her hauntingly honest solo pieces.
